Claude Knowlton

Rimouski, Québec born Claude Knowlton moved to California at nineteen to study theatre at “The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute” in Los Angeles.
He made his debut in “Arsenic and Old Lace” and the musical “Camelot” in Palm Springs California. Claude was also fortunate to have worked in one of the last productions of the famous Gene Dynarski theatre in Los Angeles in the production of Chekhov’s “Three Sisters”.
Claude lived in Los Angeles for many years and worked on several productions including a recurring role on the acclaimed Soap Opera “General Hospital” and the Sitcom “Caroline in the City” as well as many TV commercials.
In 1999 Claude moved up north to Vancouver BC where his career really began.
Claude worked on various American TV Series, Us National commercials which includes companies like Heineken, Jaguar, Nissan as well as several Canadian productions and his famous TOYO commercial which has been playing for two years now. His On-Camera credits include the Sci-Fi channel First Wave, Seven Days, Stargate-SG1 to name a few. Claude also worked along side Jennifer Beals as a recurring character on the acclaimed Showtime series The L Word.
Claude began doing voice-over work and in 2006 moved to Ontario where he worked as a voice-over actor on several major US companies for training videos, narrations, radio spots, and TV commercials.
After nine years in Canada, Claude decided it was time to return to Hollywood.
Claude now resides in Venice, California.
